Abstract
Purpose. The article is devoted to the «entelechy» concepts for the study of the evolution of the iconography of the image of the holy fool in Christ. The relevance of the study of the problem is revealed in the undying interest in contemporary political and cultural community to shocking. The subject of the analysis of the evolution in favor of Christian iconography. Entelechy – the main tool of methodological analysis of the problem. The author aims to reveal correlations category entelechy entelechy foolishness and iconographic image of the holy fool.
Methodology. The paper used the methods of correlations, Art and Historical Reconstruction and hermeneutics.
Results. The results concluded that the author calls to distinguish between the phenomenon and the phenomenon of foolishness iconography fools. However iconography, the author insists on the correct application of the term entelechy relatively iconography of foolishness and not icon painting. Iconography of the image of the holy fool in Christ there was not before the XVI century. in Russia, and the term “the iconography of foolishness” can be applied to the art of the first centuries of Christianity. It is suggested that as a method of metaphysical entelechy of the human spirit has the unique creative potency, which steadily creates new correlations phenomenon foolishness, its manifestation in the life of modern society and its reflection in art.
Application results. Results of the study can be used in courses on the history of philosophy, art and culture.
