Abstract
O presente artigo pretende, partindo de uma abordagem interdisciplinar da literatura, filosofia e história explorar as causas que convidam a humanidade à reflexão de sua condição no mundo. Primeiramente retomaremos alguns acontecimentos históricos importantes, que contribuíram para o despertar da sensibilidade absurda. Dialogaremos com alguns dos principais nomes, os quais foram citados em O mito de Sísifo e a quem o próprio Albert Camus se diz devedor. Dentre eles está o escritor russo Fiódor Dostoiévski, cuja obra apresenta uma profunda reflexão sobre a existência e comportamento humano no mundo. Pontuaremos as análises a partir das reflexões dos filósofos Soren kierkegaard, Friedrich Nietzsche, Walter Benjamin e Theodor Adorno.
