Abstract
O artigo procura definir o deslocamento do campo midiático, para distinguir a etapa atual do processo midiático daquela em que o campo midiático se instaura. Busca-se a identificação de dinâmicas gerais daquele deslocamento. Aponta-se uma diferenciação midiática específica, marcada pela elevação do processo midiático a um grau de força construtora da dinâmica social. São destacados fenômenos e ângulos que permitam caracterizar a atual etapa do processo midiático.
