Abstract
El autor estudia el efecto del pastoreo en la estructura del tapiz herbáceo del Andropogoneto-Axonopetum y del Aristideto-Paspaletum, las dos asociaciones campestres de mayor importancia en los alrededores de Posadas (Misiones), mediante el empleo de áreas de 0,25 m2 para establecer los valores de frecuencia y mediante la curva área: especies. Concluye que el pastoreo, a medida que su presión aumenta, eleva la heterogeneidad de la vegetación para homogeneizarla nuevamente, luego de haber provocado un cambio notable en su constitución florística.
