Abstract
O presente estudo consiste no tratamento taxonômico do gênero Abuta no Estado de Rondônia. São apresentadas chave de identificação, descrições e ilustrações das espécies, bem como dados adicionais sobre distribuição geográfica e comentários das mesmas. O gênero está representado na área por oito espécies: Abuta grandifolia, A. imene, A. obovata, A. pahnii, A. panurensis, A. rufescens, A. sandwithiana, e A. velutina. Abuta obovata, A. pahnii e A. panurensis são novos registros para o Estado. A venação foliar foi o principal caractere para a separação das espécies.
