Abstract
Afsenderleddet er forudsætningen for det hele, men produktionsmiljøerne
har ikke fået nær så megen opmærksomhed i medieforskningen som me-
dieprodukterne og modtagerne. Hvorfor? Kirsten Frandsen diskuterer med
udgangspunkt i MedieKultur nr. 8, der rejste problemet i 1988, hvorfor der
ikke er sket mere på området. Hun giver et signalement af, hvilke risici og
problemer der er ved produktionsanalyse. Først og fremmest synes dilem-
maet mellem praktikernes behov for aktuel og konstruktiv respons let at
kunne komme i konflikt med forskernes interesse i et historisk kritisk-ana-
lytisk perspektiv. De nye journalistiske uddannelser på RUC og Syddansk
Universitet inviterer samtidig til nye måder at tackle problemerne på.
