Abstract
O artigo tematiza a relevância da teoria desconstrutivista hoje, e, mais precisamente, no contexto da filologia moderna. O autor quer introduzir na teoria da desconstrução por meio de um "gesto elementar", a saber o uso e a análise das aspas, que se observa em alguns textos de Jacques Detrida. As aspas indicam um tratamento específico dos conceitos da tradição metafísica ocidental; os momentos da citação, da distância e da literalidade são importantes também na teoria literária de Paul de Man. O uso crítico, não ideológico dos conceitos desconstrutivistas e dessa "lectio difficilior" fica, na opinião do autor, interessante para a investigação contemporânea dos textos e das interpretações.
