Abstract
Longitudinal and transverse quark momentum distributions for the pion and the nucleon are calculated from quark-hadron vertexes obtained by an investigat ion of electromagnetic form factors within relativistic constituent quark models. The no-helicity flip generalized parton distributions for the pion are evaluated within three different models. The relevance for the pion of the one-gluon-exchange dominance at short range for the behavior of the form factor at large momentum transfer and of the parton distributions at the end points is shown.
