Abstract
By mean specimens found in Misiones, Province, Phytolacca thyrsiflora Fenzl ex J. A. Schmidt (Phytolaccaceae) is mentioned for the first time for the Argentinean flora. This species has been mentioned as useful for a lot of purposes. The text is illustrated by photographies.
