Abstract
The contemporary world demands an improvement in the training profiles of teachers in basic education, which must match the existing curriculum models. Therefore it is essential teacher training specialization fields as a way of theoretical preparation to realize in practice and effectively the existing curriculum. The aim of this paper is to argue the need and the benefits that would specialization of teachers by training fields, are some of the problems that are manifested in the current school education and no curriculum changes alone can eradicate, and They would argue the benefits of specialization of teachers to improve the quality of Mexican basic education.
