Abstract
Este trabalho é o resultado de uma pesquisa que engloba queer theory e queer pedagogy que tem por objetivo discutir possibilidades e benefícios que tais teorias podem proporcionar para o trabalho dos professores no que diz respeito à diversidade sexual e de gênero, abrindo, portanto, caminhos para que a sala de aula e a escola sejam espaços acolhedores, não só para a comunidade LGBT como também para todas as possibilidades de expressão da sexualidade humana. O presente artigo pretende discutir as práticas vigentes na escola buscando questionar as repetições normativas que excluem minorias nas escolas. Pretende-se discutir a situação das minorias LGBT na sala de aula e apresentar possíveis questionamentos para a heteronormatividade vigente no espaço escolar hoje.
