Abstract
This article examines some chronicles from Luis Fernando Verissimo’s book, O mundo é bárbaro e o que nós temos a ver com isso, from the theories of microphysical-practices of power, by Michel Foucault (2001) and (de) construction of discourse, from the perspective by Cleudemar Fernandes (2005). The research is bibliographic, and expects to prove that the analyzed chronicles allow the deconstruction of discourse/ power.
