Abstract
Nuestra industria pecuaria necesita urgentemente del intervento de elementos conocedores del peligro que la ataca y de esta manera salvaguardiar los intereses de los ganaderos, a la vez que fijamos y seleccionamos una raza que con el tiempo será el orgullo zootécnico del pais. La responsabilidad profesional me exige a poner de presente el inmenso peligro en que estamos, ya que la veterinaria encierra el campo de policía sanitaria e higiene de los alimentos de origen animal. No quiero con esta exposición buscar una dificultad al ganadero, antes bien estoy convencido que en interés de ellos es conveniente anotar todos los males de nuestra ganadería, ya que con su ayuda se podrá desarrollar una campaña eficaz en su propio beneficio,
