Abstract
This article elaborates on how to restore the scredness of teaching profession through the concept of integrated tazkiyatun nafs. Scredness in the teaching profession is considered essential to bring education that has soul and can inspire students in accordance with the purpose of education. Efforts to restore the teaching profession scredness with the concept of integrated tazkiyatun nafs using two approaches, normative-theological and juridical-sociological. In the normative-theological approach Tazkiyah understood as a concept of self-purification of the properties reprehensible and adorn themselves with noble character according to the guidelines of al-Quran and as- Sunnah. While the socio-juridical approach tazkiyah interpreted as teacher capacity development efforts both individually by the teacher concerned as well as from outside the educational environment includes government as education providers, as the administrator of the policy holder at the unit level of education, and the community as users of educational services.
