Abstract
A leitura da realidade latino-americana feita pelo Documento de Aparecida fala de “mudança de época”, que se manifesta de modo profundo no nível cultural. Ao especificar-lhe os traços, o texto recorda a “dissolução da concepção integral do ser humano” (DA, 44). Tal fato não concerne apenas a América Latina, já que afeta a maioria das sociedades atuais. Vivemos hoje momento semelhante às épocas axiais, como a da passagem do paleolítico ao neolítico, à do surgimento das religiões universais. Que ser humano emerge dessa dissolução da antropologia vigente até agora?
