Abstract
Embora o uso de estufas com cobertura plástica tenha aumentado muito na Região Sul do Brasil, as alterações microclimáticas provocadas por esse ambiente modificado ainda não são bem conhecidas. Sendo assim, desenvolveu-se este trabalho com o objetivo de caracterizar as variações da temperatura e umidade do ar e a temperatura do solo, no interior de uma estufa coberta com polietileno de baixa densidade, na região de Campinas (SP). Os resultados mostraram que a temperatura máxima do ar foi sempre maior no interior da estufa, mas os valores elevados foram evitados com a abertura das cortinas laterais. Em noites frias, principalmente com céu limpo e ausência de vento, nas quais a temperatura do ar atingiu valores abaixo de 10°C, a temperatura mínima na estufa foi sempre superior à observada no canteiro desprotegido. A umidade relativa no interior da estufa, quando fechada, mostrou-se mais elevada em relação ao ambiente externo, situação igualada pelo manejo das cortinas laterais da estufa. As temperaturas máximas e mínimas do solo mostraram-se sempre superiores no interior da estufa.
The use of plastic greenhouse has increased in southern Brazil, but the modifications in the microclimate are not well known. Therefore, this research was developed at Campinas, State of São Paulo, Brazil, aiming to characterize the changes in air temperature and humidity and soil temperature in a low texture plastic greenhouse. The results showed that the values of maximum air temperature were higher in the greenhouse when compared to outside and the highest values were avoided by opening the side courtines. During cool nights, mainly, with clear sky and no wind, when the temperature reached values below 10°C, the minimum air temperature values in the greenhouse were higher than the observed in the open field plot. The relative humidity, when the greenhouse was closed, showed higher values than at the open greenhouse conditions when the humidity was equal to the external conditions. Also it was possible to notice that the maximum and minimum soil temperature showed higher values in the greenhouse.
