Abstract
Jurnal Filsafat volume 40, nomor 2, Agustus 2006 memuat artikel-artikel dengan tema seputar agama, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan beberapa aspek kehidupan manusia. Kajian filsafati terhadap agama memunculkan pro-kontra. Yang dipermasalahkan adalah : dengan kajian tersebut keberagamaan seseorang dapat tereduksi ataukan justru semakin intens. Menyimak dinamika inteletualitas masyarakat, nampaknya, kajian filsafati terhadap agama menjadi suatu kemestian. Kajian terhadap agama terkait dengan isu-isu aktual menjadi sangat penting. Dengan kajian semacam ini diharapkan akan muncul pandangan, klaim, dan sikap proporsional berkenaan dengan eksistensi agama.
