Abstract
The quality of the product especially in businesses of service providing is highly affected by the quality of the inter-personal and intra-institutional relation of the employee. Educational Institutions are among the service-providing organisations. Success and efficiency in these organisations are the result of the quality of the relationship of the teachers with each others, students, and their institutions. This study in which the relation between organizational trust and commitment with regard to the teachers have been investigated, 332 teachers working in Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High Schools in Turkey have participated in. As the result of statistical analyses, it has been found that organisational trust has an important relation with affective commitment and normative commitment with regard to the teacher. Besides, this detected relation has been reviewed with regard to some demographic factors. Among these results, the lack of relation between the trust to the manager and affective commitment with regard to the contractual staff has been remarkably noticed.
