Abstract
Culminó la etapa de planeación que abarcó toda el decenio de los años 60 y comienzos del actual, la Universidad Nacional se encuentra ya lista a ejecutar su vieja aspiración de un Hospital Unversitario adyacente a sus instalaciones docentes y administrativas de la Ciudad Blanca. Por su parte el Estado cumplirá, al construir y dotar el Hospital Universitario, con la Ley 39 de 1969 que erigió en norma legal el Plan Hospitalario Nacional en el trienio 1970-1972. El Instituto de Crédito Territorial ya ha delimitado el área correspondiente y está gestionando con la Universidad Nacional la entrega jurídica de la zona para el "Sector Salud", integrada por las Facultades de Medicina, odontología, Enfermería y el Hospital Universitario .
