Abstract
Bu araştırmada 2005 yılında Çanakkale ilinin üç farklı bölgesinde yaygın olarak tarımı yapılan, Gönen, Kaşifbey ve Sagittario ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin rutubet, hektolitre ve bin tane ağırlığı, yaş gluten, gluten indeks, Zeleny sedimentasyon ve gecikmeli sedimentasyon gibi bazı kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen bu kalite özelliklerine çeşit ve çevrenin etkisi istatistiksel açıdan ortaya konmuştur. Bölgesel çevre koşulları ile çevre ve çeşit interaksiyonunun kalite özellikleri üzerinde belirleyici olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Biga ve Çanakkale bölgesinde yetiştirilen her üç buğday çeşidinin kalite sonuçları Gelibolu bölgesinde yetiştirilenlere göre daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Gelibolu bölgesinde yetişen Gönen buğdayının gluten indeks değeri diğer bölge ve çeşitlere göre önemli ölçüde yüksek çıkmasına rağmen, bu bölgedeki diğer kalite özellikleri en düşük bulunan çeşit olduğu saptanmıştır.
