Abstract
In the present work it is made an estimation of the cooling load of a hotel by using thermal simulation, forseveral occupancy levels and weather conditions.With the results of the thermal simulation an Artificial Neural Network is designed and a neural model isdeveloped, which relate the cooling load of the air conditioning system with the daily maximum andminimum outside temperatures for various occupation levels of the hotel, allowing to carry out differentoccupational strategies and predict the energy consumption of the air conditioning system in a quick and precise way.
