Abstract
Este artigo apresenta uma breve discussão teórica sobre alguns conceitos relevantes para compreensão dos Estudos Culturais, sobretudo, os que abordam cultura, diferença e diversidade cultural, hibridismo e identidade cultural. Inicialmente, há uma sucinta contextualização histórica sobre o que deu origem aos Estudos Culturais e depois passa-se a discorrer sobre tais conceitos. O estudo é orientado por vários autores e propõe discutir conceitos basilares para compreensão dos Estudos Culturais.
