Abstract
Este ensayo pretende realizar una aproximación histórica de la vida y obra de Antonio María Valencia Zamorano, realizando un paralelo con la vida y obra de Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, quienes tienen similitudes en sus particulares
vidas. Son esas semejanzas las que nos permitirán descubrir el valor, tanto intelectual, como
artístico del autor colombiano a quien sin asomos de duda podemos equiparar guardando las distancias tanto temporales, contextuales y la magnitud de las obras de ambos artistas. Esta aproximación se realizara en los puntos que los asemejan y se relatara a manera de paralelos y yuxtaposición de hechos que los marcaran de por vida.
