Abstract
Considerações metodológicas e práticas, resumindo os dados principais, em torno do relatório <em>Economic Freedom of the World: 2011 Annual Report </em>(Vancouver, BC: Fraser Institute, 2011), com destaque para uma comparação entre a China “capitalista” e o Brasil “socialista”. De fato, o Brasil é o mais dirigista dos países do grupo Brics, menos livre economicamente do que a China, e o mais intervencionista do Mercosul, com a exceção, na atualidade, da Argentina, que recrudesceu no dirigismo econômico.
