Abstract
La República Argentina es el país latinoamericano donde más se ha desarrollado la distribución de señales de televisión a través de sistemas de abonados, la revista 'Visión', en su edición de la segunda quincena de agosto de 1996, publica un artículo denominado "Sociedad de la información", reproduce datos emitidos por el Informe Sobre el Desarrollo de las Telecomunicaciones, I.T.U., de 1995, entre otros, de la inserción del cable en los hogares. El autor analiza la situación.
