Abstract
Mixed oxide catalysts of NiO/MgO-La2O3 varying the proportions support were synthesized through the Lunsford method, successive impregnation. Different techniques were used to determine their physicochemical properties., EDX analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, XRD, thermal methods, TGA, DSC, BET surface area method, temperature programmed reduction, TPR-H2, temperature programmed desorption, TPD-O2 and TPD-NO. The results show that nickel oxide displays a strong interaction with support, depending mainly on the proportion of these components.
