En el contexto de las entidades infecciosas que afectan a la madre y el niño se hace un análisis de los diferentes aspectos que relacionan a la lactancia materna y la infección. Se aborda la prevención de infecciones, la transmisión de infecciones crónicas maternas, así como la repercusión de los cuadros agudos infecciosos de la madre y el niño sobre la mantención del amamantamiento. Se hacen recomendaciones sobre los antibióticos más seguros.
In the context of infectious entities affecting the mother and the child, an analysis is made of the different aspects that relate breast feeding to infection. The prevention of diseases, the transmission of chronic maternal infections, as well as the repercussion of the acute infectious pictures of the mother and the child on the maintenance of breast feeding are approached here. Recommendations on the safest antibiotics are made.
