Abstract
We estudied 12.683 post-morten reports from Hospital San Juan de Dios permorfed between 1954 and 1990. We wanted to know mortality rates from connective tissue primary and secondary vasculitis, 16 ofwhich were systemic lupus erythematosus, one case of rheumatoid arthritis and one case of scleroderma. Skin, kidney and myocardial muscle were, The most affected organs only seventeen patients died directly from vasculitis. More studies have to be performed.
