Abstract
Neste trabalho, tomamos como objeto de estudo a leitura da obra Incidente em Antares (2002), de Erico Veríssimo, por uma perspectiva discursiva, com o objetivo de visualizar o embate entre a formação discursiva dominante e a da resistência, no contexto sócio-histórico do período ditatorial. O eixo estruturante das análises é a noção de formação discursiva, em especial, a do sistema dominante (do Cel. Tibério Vacariano) e a da resistência (de Geminiano Ramos, líder sindicalista e do advogado Cícero Branco), a partir das quais buscamos explicitar os modos como esses sujeitos se identificam/contraidentificam ou se desidentificam com os saberes/poderes constitutivos da FD em que se inscrevem, e com os sentidos do espaço urbano da cidade de Antares.
