Abstract

To contribute to the recognition of the ecological reality of Colombia, the project called Reconstruction Analytical of an Ecological Speech, which retakes the publications in the newspaper The Republic made by the director of the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute, during 2013 - 2014, and are the object of this study: it is 43 articles in total. This research addresses environmental issues from an unusual approach: discourse analysis. The aim of this paper is to highlight the social component of the ecological situation in the country, constantly emphasized as a relevant aspect in the articles of the author, as shown in the reconstruction of the semantic level.
