Abstract
The Induced-Polarization Time-Domain technique of geophysical exploration<br />has been proved on known ore deposits of Sardinia in order to<br />verify its validity and the possibility of mining prospecting under the<br />employed operative conditions. The research has been carried out on<br />massive, scattered and diffuse Pb, Fe and Zn sulphide orebodies. From<br />the qualitative point of view the results obtained have been always successfull.<br />Furthermore, they seem very interesting and promising as concerns<br />a semiquantitative attempt to the reconstruction of the burried<br />geometries and to an approximated evaluation of the percent sulphide<br />contents.
