Abstract
The aim of this article is to evaluate O. Virginianus hunting in Aguazuque, a late hunter-gatherer site at the Sabana de Bogotá by using theoretical and methodological elements of conservation biology, such as sustainability. In this study, diversity indexes which are commonly utilized in ecology were used as well as in zooarchaeology with indexes like NISP and MNI. In the case of the O. virginianus hunting at Aguazuque the result is that it was a sustainable activity.
