Abstract
El presente artículo analiza la fotografía de arquitectura en las páginas de la revista argentina Nuestra Arquitectura en sus ediciones hasta 1955. Se sostiene aquí que el discurso de estas imágenes –que considera a la fotografía como texto-, reunió las condiciones suficientes para consolidar la apertura del Movimiento Moderno en el contexto local. El estudio se basa en los dispositivos de comunicación que facilitaron la construcción y difusión de los nuevos códigos que atendieron, como criterio paradigmático la percepción visual, la estética del espacio y la masa volumétrica, ponderando la forma por sobre la función de habitabilidad a la que se debe todo objeto arquitectónico e instalaron la formulación de su imaginario de modernidad.
