Abstract
The analysis of long-term results of conservative surgeries on the thyroid gland for benign focal lesions has been carried out. The authors identified patterns of recurrences, depending on the extent of operation, the morphological type of nodules, their multiplicity. Also, we have studied the influence of radiation received in 1986 as a result of Chernobyl NPP accident on the development of recurrent benign focal thyroid lesions.
