Gordon, Journal of Physiology, 102, 95-107, junio, 1943 El estímulo del extremo central cortado de nervios mixtos puede determinar un aumento o un descenso en la presión sanguínea general según las característica de la excitación. El autor examinó estos fenómenos en gastos deserecrados o anestesiados empleando un estímulo eléctrico que puede graduarse cuantitativamente en cuanto su intensidad, duración y frecuencia de repetición.
