Abstract
La nueva historiografía, de la que se habla en el artículo, aborda la problemática de trabajadores y/o empresarios particulares en ciertas regiones o empresas específicas en periodos acotados. Estudia políticas gubernamentales concretas y su interacción con actores también concretos. Se basa cada vez menos en las estadísticas y los amplios reportes gubernamentales y cada vez más en archivos de empresas, de sindicatos, de municipios, de notarías y de oficinas de gobierno específicas (papeles internos). A partir de este agregado de estudios específicos y dispares, ha surgido no una historiografía caótica y parcial, sino nuevas visiones de conjunto que refutan con solidez muchas de las ideas tradicionalmente sostenidas acerca de “la Industria”.
