Abstract
This essay represents our homage to the Mexican poet Raúl Renán. We put in dialogue the metapoetics of Raúl Renán with the ideas of Gaston Bachelard, emphasizing the cosmic image of the water and the salmon. In the agony of the salmon, we try to catch some of the unheard fight of the human being, the singing that aspires to the sacred thing and that, finally, is diluted within the ironic destination of a trivial death.
