Abstract

Pengumpulan data melalui metode pengamatan biasanya digunakan untuk studi-studi sosial, antara lain yaitu Antropologi dan Sosiologi. Namun, tidak jarang bidang/disiplin ilmu lain seperti penelitian di bidang kesehatan menggunakan metode pengamatan.

Syarat utama untuk menggunakan metode pengamatan adalah bahwa indera penglihatan peneliti memenuhi syarat untuk dapat me­lakukan pengamatan dengan baik.

Dalam metode pengamatan terdapat 3 macam metode yaitu :

1.  Metode pengamatan biasa;

2. Metode pengamatan terkendali: dan

3.  Metode pengamatan terlibat.
