Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the current problem of intellectual margins arising under the condition of social and historical development. For studying the question mark there were used the following methods: an integrated method, system method, the structural-functional method and the method of historical analysis. The author focuses on a particular position of marginal-intellectual, which is regarded as inventive, a creative person, "a constructor of new cultural practices". During research it was revealed that the position of marginal intellectuals between the two social groups, cultures and religions, gives him more knowledge and allows us to use them in creative activities. Marginal intellectuals formed a new group, which includes people of high levels of education and skills, and a developed system of needs and political activity. The main abstracts and results of this article help us to understand the diversity and complexity of the phenomenon of intellectual marginalization, as well as the place and meaning of intellectuals in the historical development of society. The practical significance of the results of this work is the ability to use its materials for the preparation and conducting the general and specialized courses in philosophy, sociology, history and cultural studies. In general, the given abstracts and the obtained results can be used for further theoretical and practical development of the concept of marginality of the intelligence as a social group.
