Resumen

Si indagamos en el tiempo, como por ejemplo en el Renacimiento, descubriremos que el arte, el diseño y la ingeniería han estado relacionados entre si y que esa unión ha favorecido la creación de grandes obras a lo largo de la historia. Para entender este proceso será necesario definir cada concepto para a continuación buscar el hilo conductor de un discurso que haga visibles las fuentes comunes de las que todos ellos se nutren. El propósito es abrir una línea de investigación que, indagando en el pasado y apoyandonos en el presente, nos permita ampliar las miras para que el arte, el diseño y la ingeniería retomen el espacio común que han compartido en diversas épocas.

Abstract

If we have a look back on time, as in the Renaissance, we’ll find out that art, design and engineering have been connected between them, and that union has favored the creation of great works throuhg out history. To understand this process, it will be necessary to define each term, and after, try to find the thread of an enriching discourse that could make visible the common fountain form they’ve all nourished. The purpose is to find an investigation line that, looking backward and based on present time, make us possible to amplify the sights so art design and engineering could restart the common space that they have share time to time.
