Abstract
Článek se zabývá environmentálními prvky v současné učebnici anglického jazyka Time to talk. Cílem práce je klasifikovat v učebnici environmentální prvky ve vztahu k „Doporučeným očekávaným výstupům v environmentální výchově“ a analyzovat způsob prezentace tohoto obsahu. Pomocí vybraných technik kritické analýzy diskurzu a prostřednictvím konceptu otevřených a uzavřených textů jsou popsány možnosti ideologického přenosu environmentálních sdělení a míra jejich manipulativnosti. Celkem byly analyzovány 4 texty a 19 úloh. Jedním ze závěrů analýzy je, že učebnici lze díky propojenosti s klíčovými tématy DOV chápat jako nástroj k výuce průřezového tématu environmentální výchova. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována některým ideologickým momentům v uzavřených úlohách, kde jsou environmentální obsahy prezentovány jako nezpochybnitelná fakta, která předpokládají čtenářovu pasivní kooperaci.
