Abstract
Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengapa perempuan dalam komunitas MC bisa memberdayakan perempuan melalui kegiatan dakwah dan bagaimana pola pemberdayaan dilakukan. Penelitian ini jugamenguraikan gerakan feminis pesantren berbasis.Pendekatan fenomenologis interpretatif untuk penelitian dan menafsirkan fenomena budaya yang ditemukan dalam komunitas perempuan di MC.Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Adanya MCdi asrama DT telah memberikan warna dan pola dalam sosiologi sekolah perkotaan, dimana telah disediakan ruang publik bagi perempuan Muslim untuk mengaktualisasikan diri melalui kegiatan dakwah dan pemberdayaan perempuan, (2)Munculnya gerakan perempuan yang dilembagakan dalam MC tidak bisa lepas dari tokoh kunci, AaGym yang awalnya memberi peran khusus untuk istrinya (3) Pola gerakan berbasis pada penguatan ekonomi keluarga.

The research also elaborates the pesantren-based feministmovement. Interpretative pheno menological approach to research and interpret the cultural phenomenon that isfound in the female community in the MC. The findingswere: (1) The presence of MC in boarding DT has givencolor and pattern in the sociology of urban schoolsthat have provided public space for Muslim women toactualize themselves through propaganda and women’sempowerment, (2) The rise of the women’s movementwhich was institutionalized in the MC could not beseparated from key figure of Aa Gym that originally gavea special role to his wife (3) the pattern of movementbased especially on strengthening the economic family.
