Abstract
O texto analisa as concepções teóricas de San Tiago Dantas e Roberto Mangabeira Unger a respeito da relação entre política exterior e política interna, observando que para ambos os autores há uma ênfase na dialética entre as duas dimensões. Dito de outra forma, para eles não é possível uma política externa ousada sem lastro em um projeto interno também ousado. Assim sendo, outro ponto a ser refletido, que traz consigo uma íntima relação com a elaboração teórica da política externa versa sobre o projeto político de reforma social.
