Abstract
Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) hat im Frühjahr 2017 eine Ausschreibung veröffentlicht, um „Open-Access-Transformationsverträge“ zu unterstützen. Anträge können bis Ende 2018 gestellt werden. Dieser Artikel erläutert den Inhalt der Ausschreibung, erklärt die Beweggründe für die Ausschreibung, diskutiert die Vor- und Nachteile dieses Instruments der Open-Access-Transformation und legt dar, inwiefern einzelne Bibliotheken in Deutschland die Transformation befördern können.
