Abstract
Este trabalho busca conhecer os desafios enfrentados pelos empreendedores sociais da Incubadora Pública de Empreendimentos Populares e Solidários de Osasco (IPEPS) para consolidar seus empreendimentos. Para tanto, empreendeu-se pesquisa qualitativa, identificou-se bibliografia e legislação relacionada ao tema e realizaram-se, nos anos de 2014 e 2015, quinze entrevistas com os gestores e empreendedores da IPEPS de Osasco. Alguns dos principais desafios elencados pelos entrevistados são: baixa escolaridade, dificuldades para gerir os empreendimentos, competir no mercado e obter financiamentos, urgência de geração de renda, dentre outros. Adicionalmente, recomenda-se à IPEPS de Osasco, a adoção de algumas ações, visando melhor apoiar seus associados.
