Abstract
Hukum secara umum dipahami sebagai aturan yang dibuat oleh penguasa untuk mengatur masyarakat dan seluruh kegiatannya demi terciptanya ketertiban umum dan keadilan. Hukum tersebut ditegakkan oleh aparataparat penegak hukum dengan memakai upaya-upaya penaatan dan penindakan atau paksaan. Disamping pemahaman yang bersifat umum tersebut, pemahaman terhadap hukum juga dapat diperoleh dengan menerapkan beberapa pendekatan yang berbeda, seperti pendekatan politik, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Dengan cara tersebut, pemahaman tentang hukum dapat diperkaya dan ditingkatkan bagi upaya-upaya penegakkan dan penaatan hukum.
