Objects of studies were agroforestry plantings that are located on farms in forest-steppe subzone of Northern Kazakhstan. We studied the safety, growth and condition ordinary and bias-group of protective plantings, served as control of agricultural landscapes with open fields. When comparing the safety, condition and growth of trees in agroforestry plantings revealed that for conditions of Northern Kazakhstan the best way to create of protective plantings is bias-group method. When creating agroforestry plantings ordinary preference should be given to agroforestry plantings of the 4-row stripes of (Betula pendula Roth) and 3-row – from (Larix sibirica Lebed.) with location 1.0 × 3.0 m.
