Abstract
Por ocasião das comemorações do 25º aniversário da queda do Muro de Berlim, somando esforços com pesquisadores do Brasil e de diversos países como México, Canadá, Bulgária, Costa Rica, Argentina, Uruguai, entre outros, a Revista OPSIS apresenta o Dossiê América Latina no contexto da Guerra Fria.
Considerado como um dos principais símbolos globais da época da Guerra Fria, o Muro de Berlim foi construído em 1961 e durante suas quase três décadas de existência, o referido muro ficou associado à divisão política e econômica do mundo. Sua presença marcante confirmava não apenas a divisão da cidade de Berlim, como da Alemanha, da Europa e, de fato, do mundo.
