El artículo propone una reflexión sobre las biografías del escritor argentino Roberto Arlt como un estudio de caso a partir del cual analizar aspectos formales y compositivos del género. Su hipótesis general sostiene que las biografías de escritor son tomas de posición crítica de quienes las escriben, pues se trata de escrituras situadas en un presente de enunciación que difiere de los tiempos del escritor biografiado, pero no de la lectura de sus textos. Su hipótesis particular es que la narración de la vida de Arlt permitió intervenciones muy precisas en el campo literario, político y estético en distintos momentos del siglo xx.   Abstract    The article proposes a reflection on the biographies of the argentinean writer Roberto Arlt as a case study from which it will be analyzed formal and compositional aspects of the genre. Their general hypothesis holds that writer’s biographies are critical positions of those who write them, because it’s writings in a present of enunciation that differs from the times of the writer, but not the reading of their texts. Its particular hypotheses holds that the narrative of Arlt’s life allowed very precise interventions in the field of literary, political and aesthetic at various times throughout the twentieth century.
