Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determined the effect of Speed Reading-Mind Mapping (SR-MM) learning to the creative thinking skiils and cognitive learning outcomes. The research is a quasi-experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Factorial Design. The research sample is X-MIA4 class of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 and X-MIA class of SMA Bina Bangsa Surabaya. Data from creative thinking skiils obtained from essay test and cognitive learning outcomes obtained from multiplechoice test. This data analyzed using anacova test. The result showed that SR-MM affect the the creative thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Speed Reading-Mind Mapping (SR-MM) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar kognitif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Factorial Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X-MIA 4 SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 dan kelas X-MIA SMA Bina Bangsa Surabaya. Data keterampilan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari tes uraian dan data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari tes pilihan ganda. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Annacova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran Biologi yang berbasis SR-MM berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
